Finally~~~

I did something worth mentioning. That is~~~~~I QUEUE UP FOR AN ENTIRE NIGHT FOR A SONT T77 CAMERA!!!! The best thing is................... It only costs RM488!!!!!!!!!!! AND I GOT THE PINK 1!!!!!!!!!!! YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!


WOOHOO~~ I can't believe i really did it!!! It's totally unbelievably out of my character. If not for my friend Evon ---->

I would never never have done this crazy (some say stupid) thingy.

Let me start from the beginning. Evon is going to Aus to study like really really soon, and she desperately need a camera pronto before she go. Therefore, she decided to call me, her very *kind and soft-hearted* friend to go along with her almost insane plan. That is, to queue up for an entire night to BUY a camera. Understandably much much cheaper than the retail price.

I was quite reluctant at first but me being me, decided to go along with her. The location was at Berjaya Times Square shopping mall and when we reach there in the afternoon, we did not know nor bother to find out where is the queue as we assume that we are the only nutcases that shows up the day before the actual event.

Lo and behold, after a few hours we accidently found out that the queue was not smack right in front of the entrance as we assume it would be, and the blow was that there was already like 50 people lining up there...... some even have mats and pillows ready to spend the night. Hardcore buyers.

The boring process of waiting would not even interest me and therefore i will refrain from spelling out the moments as i would have to read this back someday an i would not want to bore myself to death.

In the end, we were a really really freakingly lucky pair and i thank my God for that. The price of the camera goes up by the number of people, such me and Evon were the last 2 to get the camera for the cool price of RM488. And the retail price is RM 1,298.

It;s suppose to be my birthday present but i felt that AS IF i have worked for it.

I do not care what everyone says about it. This is my new most precious gadget. Although i do not really have that much actually. I do not care. I am estatic I have a sony pink and slim camera. With a touchscreen. The world is ALMOST perfect. I LOVE GOD. ^^

The smell detector

I wish wish wish there were something such as a smell detector. I wish there was a smell detector located at the door of every public transport so that whenever smelly people get on the bus/train, the smell detector will emit a shrill alarm screaming "GET OFF GET OFF YOU SMELLY FUCKFACE!!!"

Of course that will not happen.

I searched in trusted wiki and there are no results so i assumed there is no such thing invented yet. Mayb there is only it wasen't use on something so trivial as public transport.

The thing is, smelly people should not take public transport! In my case, the bus. I take the bus to work every morning and when a smelly person sat beside me, it ruined my perfectly fine morning.

Few days ago i missed my bus so i called a cab to the bus station, reached, found my bus which is exactly the same bus which i would have taken if i were to have a lil bit of patience and wait in my usual spot. I sat down, opened my novel and prepare to lost myself in it. Alas, that wasn't the end of my unfortunate monday morning.

As fate would have it, an a nehneh/ bengala (not sure, so i shall call him IT ) DECIDED TO SIT BESIDE ME. OH MY DEAR GOODNESS, HE SMELLS LIKE... LIKE... (loss of adjective to describe the smell!! it is too smelly!!!!). He is the most repulsive smelling person i have ever encounter and the waff of vile smell coming from his body almost suffocated me. I was reluctant to move as the bus is full and i will have to stand until i reach my workplace, which is eons away.

Thus i coughed loudly and cover my nose, sqeeze myself as far away from him as possible, and turn my head completely away from him. I CAN STILL SMELL HIM. Pondering over wheather to sit here and assault my nose or stand in aisle and sway around and let my toes be stepped on, i choose the previous.

Bad came to worse. The "IT" FELL ASLEEP AND HIS HEAD IS TILTING TOWARDS ME.
The smell become almost unbearable and i am getting desperate. The final straw came when HIS HEAD DROP TO MY SHOULDER. AAAARRRRGGGGHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!! I AM CONTAMINATED!!!!

The "IT" being jolted awake from his slumber look at me innocently when i stand up abruptly and said excuse me (polite), get out from my seat and stand in the aisle away from him. I felt a stab of guilt as I think i'm being mean. But his smell is really really unbearably smelly.

I was standing on the aisle and muling over a problem. When people see an old/pregnant/handicapped person they would give up their seat for them right? It has been drilled into us since young that this is the morale we should have.

There is one problem though, what if you think the person looks old but is not sure?? How to deemed the person old enough to give her your seat??? mayb she's a healthy 40+ yr old lady but looks way older than she should, like 60, then when you give her your seat she will look at you with a massive frown, then proceed to yell "YOU SIAO AH??!!! WHY YOU GIVE ME YOUR SEAT??!! I LOOK VERY OLD MEH?? FUCKK YOU LA!!! then continue to mumble something under her breath about youngsters nowaday.

HOW?

I have this dilemma everytime i see quite old but not very old person standing. -.-"

An unintended blog

In reference to the title, i had not intended to blog this trip but as i have nothing better to do.. i might as well find something to do with my time... The trip is a company fam trip back to kk last month. Since i come from KK.. I had thought that it would be quite uneventful and I can act as a tour guide.

Eek.. What an emberassing thought.*grimace*

Turns out this trip is as much a fam trip to them as well as for me. I hadn't known my birthplace as well as I thought i had. And i had initially insisted my dream is to become a tourguide -.-paiseh

From the moment we arrive, we were kept busy for the next 4days 3night by our unofficial tour guide, Mr Yawata-San, Chris's friend. The minute we arrive, we were whisked off to Manukan Island for lunch..

The waters is not as clear as i had hope as according to them there's a huge downpour at kk the previous night. Anyway after lunch we were taken to other 2 island, Mamutik and Sapi for inspection.( i.e any future prospect of having team building etc)

Despite the awesome beach there's no picture of me clad in bikini or otherwise. In fact the four of us looked quite ridiculous as we had juz gotten off our flight, Chris, Kuan and Yawata-San were wearing shirts and pants, i'm wearing tee and cotton slacks.. how's that for beachwear..

After my dinner at home i met them back at town.. they had just finish visiting Ramba, a latin club i have never even heard of, and we met at the famous kk club, The Bed. I have not been there since i gratuated from high school and things have not change. Live bands and rowdy crowds.

Woke up early the next morning and went to 2 resorts for site inspection. I never never thought it would be so tiring. May be due to my lack of sleep or the freaking hot sun happily beating down upon my vulnerable head as we walk around the resort. That moment i feel like the guy in the legendary tale where he has arrows that can shot down the sun... Muahaha.. i totally understand his feelings.

Back to topic, anyways after our tour we went back to our hotel to rest a bit, den got ready for our sunset cruise. We went on this big catamaran, and they had free flow of wine, soft drinks, beer, finger foods etc, and cruise it did. It took 1 hour to get to the point where they stop and the sunset is just right in front of me. By the way it costs like Rm200/pax so if it was not free, i would have never never gone to that trip. Siao ah.

Took another hour to get back on shore. After dinner i called them and Chris told me they're having dinner at the revolving Atmosphere. Darn, i wish i had followed them. But then i was so tired i just begged off giving some excuses of having just wash my hair when they ask me to join them in Shennigans. I am so weak.

Third and last day, on the evening we went to this river called Western where you can see fireflies, proboscis monkey, crocs etc etc. Went for another sunset, which is quite sien when i had just seen a sunset from the frigging middle of the sea.

Then we proceed to go look for some flying fox and proboscis. When i knew that flying fox is a kind of BATS that fly accross the sky in THOUSANDS, was soooo relieve that we didn't manage to spot any. How horrible if like 10 of them decide to shit while flying accross out boat. Major eewww.

A nature guide in Yawata-San office told us an interesting fact about the proboscis monkey. Apparently there will be 1 dominant male in the group, where it can have like up to 8 wives at 1 time. If that is not shiok enough for him, in order to continuely PLEASE all of it wives, Our Lord Almighty has decided to grant this particular monkey 24/7 ERECTION.

Oh my oh my, what guys who knows of this will do just to die and be reincarneted to as a proboscis monkey. Imagine, you are born dominant, gets as many wives as you like, can have sex 24/7 without going flaccid etc. Isn't this what every guy dreams of?? HAHAHA

On the sour side, the guide told us to look out for the red chili, the terms used to describle the monkey's penis as it is red in color and always standing. Muahaha chili, must be quite small. We didn't get to see any though, as whenever we saw the dominant male it always turns it's back towards us. Shy of it's size perhaps.

Back to hotel, bathe, and started our night activities. First we went to the hotel club, very posh and alot of seemingly rich people miling around, got bored and went to cock and bull until the wee hrs. Went for supper of prawn mee and by 4am, wearily trudge back to hotel.

The dessert tray i found in my room when i came back. The cheesecake is super cheesy lor i tell you.. heaven.. the housekeeping had also turn down my bed, put bedroom slippers beside the bed, and tidy up my messy toilet.

Sigh. I shall become a fu tai tai in the near future. Own my private jet to jet around the world at whim, stay at 6 star resorts, and spend like nobody's business. MUAHAHAHA!

An weekend

Hancock is finally on!!

Excitingly went to Cineplex to watch the movie with my darling.. Will Smith plays the drunken, despise-by-everyone superhero. Sadly, the movie plot was typical of other superhero movies, laced with romance where the superhero had to die/sacrifice for his lover.. well atleast it is better then most superhero movies though.. ie Spiderman 3... but i stil prefer his previous movie I am Legend.

After the movie we went window shopping in the curve, which i have never been before =X.. turns out i didn't miss anything special.. the shops there were brands so commom i can find them in any shopping mall.. after that, dinner time..

There is a stretch of restaurants in between the Curve and Cineleisure and after walking along the whole stretch without finding anything that interests us.. typical of Malaysians, we decided to settle on one restaurant that has the most people lining up.

Bubba Gump Shrimp Restaurant

since 1. there is alot of people eating/waiting = must be somewhat nice

2. The atmosphere inside seems cozy

3. The (size) food looks impressive

Thus, our decision is made up despite the 30 minutes waiting list (turns out to be 40)

Turns out this restaurant is a themed restaurant by the movie Forrest Gump and the place is decorated with memorabilia from the movie.. they also used a very special concept where they have 2 metal plates.. The 1st reads

Which means all is well... and the other 1 shows

Which signals that the table needs service..
No more raising your hand stupidly for attention and being ignored!

Wut to do?

In the office now and i hv totally nothing to do.. juz some random thoughts... I GOTTA CHANGE MY HAIRSTYLE!! i seriously hate it now.. it's frizzy + lil curly + weird coloring... it even sounds ugly... i cant even go out now without tyin up my hair.. see.. i'm being kind i dun wan to scare all those weak hearted ppl to death... anyway i'm goin back 2 kk next week hope i'll hv time 2 do sthin about it.. straighten it.. hair extentions mayb.. it's in an awkward length now.. and most important... cut off the length that stil hv a bit of coloring...

Petrol price rises by 40% today... means all transport fare will be rising... food price rising... n my mom says my pocket money is not rising =(... the world is unfair

Redang Day 2~~~

sooo disappointed.. slept at the beach whole night for this?? Dat's 6am in the mornin where we were suppose to wake up to glorious sight of sunrise.. instead we got heavy clouds... damn.. I went back 2 d room to sleep after this.. sleepy...

Redang~~~

Holidays~~ at last... 1 week of freedom before d torture begins... or so i thought...

Turns out it wasnt so bad...

Anyway d redang trip was so much fun.. i was so tan when i came back... loaded wit happy memories... picture time again hehe...

We started from takin a bus dat night.. but i look awful in it... therefore.. i decided to be vain and not to post it hehehe

Day 1

On d speed boat 'speeding' towards redang.. the sea was very choopy dat day and we were bumped around the boat..

Arrival time... they didn't hv a jetty in redang and we hv 2 wade our way up 2 the shore.. a small wave hit when i'm walkin toward d shore n my backside was wet. -.-" After settling in the room lunch was served... and after that we went snorkelling.. Jack didnt manage to rent the underwater camera that day so i din hv any pics...

Dinner time.. =O wher is Claudia??!!!

After dinner we had singin k session.. hehe n i thought songs there would be way outdated.. apparently i was wrong.. The karaoke session was from 8pm - 10pm.. and then at 10pm it was transformed into a 'club'.. we called a bottle of tequilla/bacardi? i forgot which izzit.. and dance our way into d night.. din't hv photos as we're busy dancing hehe

Poor Ah Seng.. i didn't noe how much he drunk but he ended up DRUNK.


1st night in redang and guess where we spend our night... at the beach. yes dat's right.. even hv a pic to prove it. I thought that the sand would be soft bit alas... it's damp and hard. There wasn't any mosquito/ sand fleas bites on me but i sure felt sticky after a whole night sleeping in the beach. And yes, the reasomn y we are doing this is that... Jack told us that the sunrise is spectacular and so po (Cons) suggested we should juz sleep at the beach. The conclusion...

Well it seems that i'm going backwards in my blog...

As u can see from d title this is a beauty/handsome contest.. our class was d organiser for this event which is used to promote the reformed Tourism club.. n so i was selected to represent my class BDT27 as ms tourism... n Shamaam as mr tourism.. hehe although i din win anythin but it was stil an exciting experience..
